I am especially interested in writing complex female characters; in the questions and ideas that emerge when ancient stories (like myths and folktales) and modern ones bump up against each other; in exploring contemporary American, female, Jewish identity; in including songs/music, poetry, languages other than English, and images (photos and illustration) in my plays; in solo work and early collaboration with other artists in developing material.
