My writing is deeply informed by my work as an actress. Actors ask questions, fill voids, envision, inhabit; the duality of both disciplines shapes my work as a writer. I write about women at inflection points in their lives. Themes of singularity, control, alienation, and risk recur in my work. I approach playwriting with humor and attention to each character’s specific voice.
