My writing is deeply informed by my work as an actress. Actors ask questions, fill voids, envision, inhabit; the duality of both disciplines shapes my work as a writer. I write about people that intrigue me; characters who are seekers, strivers, and hard to categorize. Themes of singularity, control, alienation, and risk recur in my work. I approach playwrighting with humor and attention to each character’s specific voice.
