Jeanette Farr's plays have been produced around the world including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland and Singapore. Her work has been recognized by the Nevada Arts Council, The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. In Los Angeles, Jeanette has worked with Moving Arts (Car Play's Series, and Mosaic Wonderland) as well as The Secret Rose Theatre and SkyPilot Theatre Company. She is a proud member of The Playwright's Union, Los Angeles and the Dramatists Guild of America.
Her plays and monologues are published through Original works publishing (IceSPEAK), Smith & Kraus, Dramatic Publishing, and 10-minute-plays.com. Her play, My Life As a Circus Baby is a 2014 Heideman Award Finalist (Actor's Theatre of Louisville) and her play Gray Matter has receive over 1000 productions to date. An alumnus of the Kennedy Center Summer Playwriting Intensive, a Tennessee Williams Scholar at the Sewanee Writer's Conference, and the former National Playwriting Program Chair for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
