Life is full of intriguing characters whose stories often rival or exceed anything the imagination can create. I love to get inside the heads of these individuals and to explore what motivates them. Most of my plays are based on true historical characters and events. I am particularly interested in individuals who have overcome oppression or difficult situations imposed on them by society or misfortune.
