My burning desire in writing plays is to find the surprising and transformative in grief and loss. All my characters seem to live on the psychological and/or geographical cultural margins - and I like to discover the surprising and fortifying connections that spring from within that “land.” This is a pattern that continues to emerge in both my full-length and short plays.
