I hope to write plays that are more interested in questions than answers. I think that too often, writers create simplistic worlds in which all of their personal views are objectively correct. Playwriting is, to me, the best medium to explore my own contradictory, dialectic thinking, as well as challenge audiences to never rest in their search for truth. Also, pretense aside, I love characters and I like writing jokes.
