Domenick V. Danza taught drama/theatre at Sunset Park School (PS 169), Joseph F. Lamb School (PS 206), and The School for Classics. Before teaching with the New York City Department of Education, he was Director of Education at Chicago Dramatists, The Cleveland Play House, Virginia Stage Company, and the Renaissance Theatre (home of the Mansfield Symphony, Mansfield, OH). He directed staged readings of new works for Chicago Dramatists and Chicago Writers Bloc, and taught playwriting at Poets & Writers League of Greater Cleveland and in the Chicago, Cleveland, and Mansfield City School Districts. Domenick was Founder & Artistic Director of Green Light Performing Co. from 1993 to 2003. During that time he wrote, directed, and choreographed fifteen educational musical touring performances. He also directed and choreographed productions with Bailiwick Theatre (Chicago), New Tuners Theatre (Chicago), Tellin’ Tales Theatre (Chicago), Loyola University (Chicago), Roosevelt University (Chicago), Indiana University Northwest, and Ohio State University.
