She grew up in Melrose, Massachusetts, attended Boston College, and has painted theater sets all over Boston as a professional scenic artist, while directing high school productions, and writing plays on her notes app. She is a member of the Dramatist Guild, the writers' group Writers at Play, and a volunteer editor for the New Play Alliance New Play Newsletter.
