I write about characters clumsily trying to make the world a better place. My characters are all in some way reckoning with their privilege at the intersection of global and personal crisis. My plays have ghosts, murder, primal screams, capitalism, Catholic guilt, and climate anxiety, but also nature, music, dance, laughter, friendship, and family.
