FULL LENGTH - In the middle of the Great Recession, Morris Golden fights to save his marriage and keep the bank from foreclosing on his house. He might be able to pull it off if he could just get this stubborn magical change machine to work. Golden (formerly titled "When We Rise") paints a vulnerable portrait of how we recover from devastating events, maintain hope during hopeless times, and fight to connect with one another in order to survive in a world in crisis.

FULL LENGTH - 1884, Texas. Ro (a Black domestic worker) and Prophet (a Black cowboy) are in love, and they dream of leaving the Bailey Family Ranch behind, and building a life together. But when the ranch prematurely falters, and the cowboys go on strike, Ro and Prophet are pulled in opposite directions as they fight to keep their vision of the future from crumbling to dust. Set at the tail end of the Cowboy Golden Age, Last Drive to Dodge examines race, love, and legacy in a time when everyone is scrambling for their piece of the American Dream.

FULL LENGTH - In the midst of city-wide gentrification, rumors of building buyouts and community displacement swirl among the tenants at the Riverwood Park Apartments. When their worst fears are realized the lives of five people are thrown into upheaval. As seventeen year-old Tel and Crunch navigate their place in society as young, Black men, building super, Lenard, dreams of hitting it big in the lotto. Community warrior, Dédra fights to keep her neighborhood intact, while building manager, Miss Penny is content to do away with it all. With painful pasts revealed and uncertain futures ahead, each member of this tight community finds themselves asking: how much would you risk in order to own your own dream? Part coming of age story, part slice of life, Riverwood explores the difficult nature of setting up roots and letting go.

FULL LENGTH - 1876. A quartet of organizers push to get Solomon Reed elected as the first Black mayor of Lochton, Louisiana. As they fight to gain the upper hand in the race, Representative James Franklin contends with a congressional body that has grown tired of federal hands in the South. With the looming Presidential election threatening to end Reconstruction and Lochton on the brink of violence, these unsung heroes come together and risk it all to demand that the nation lives up to its creed. Men of Mettle reflects on a time of hope and grapples with a future that almost was.

JOURNEY WEST! is a farcical, intersectional, re-imagining of the Lewis & Clark expedition, told from the perspective of the lesser known members of the Corps of Discovery. Half history lesson, half fantasy, this show brings a few laughs, a few feels, and lots of heart.
