Artistic Statement

My plays find their launch in the overlooked. I sidestep traditional-form history which has too often been a near ruthless editing machine streamlining living chaos into a traceable sequence that retroactively bestows logic. Instead I source fragmentary, discarded history; figures inhabiting that abyss of public forgetting, those that have left enough trace to tantalize and been enough obscured to permit/require my imagining.
