I love theater that is ambitious--plays that make the audience embrace suspension of disbelief or tinker with bold styles, and plays that attempt direct action or help their audiences heal from trauma. I'm intrigued by plays that contain multiple worlds, whether that's magical realism or parallel timelines. I'm also a huge fan of she/they-driven stories, plays that include multiracial families, and plays that utterly defy stereotype or genre.
