Alec is a kinky weirdo who thinks too much. Any realism that appears in his plays doesn't last long, because his artistic goal is to untell the stories that trap people in, at best, unsatisfying routines and, at worst, devastating circumstances. His work is funny, tragic, bizarre hard to predict, and it covers a wide range of topics, but it always comes back to the question: how can we live our lives more authentically?
