I love the craft of constructing an emotionally honest narrative that can make an audience both feel connection with my characters and laugh. I have found myself returning to certain subjects and themes in my work, including brothers, fathers, family, pop music, technology, soccer, baseball, and the lengths to which we will go to find love, acceptance, and connection. I believe that every character who walks on stage, even if just for a moment, should display their humanity through their own wants, obstacles, losses, and victories. I am grateful for the meaning and purpose writing brings to my life.
