I have lived in over 12 states and 3 countries and one of the things they all have in common is the need to communicate. Playwriting provides an avenue for communication - which I believe can promote tolerance and understanding. When I tackle a new play, I am most interested in finding people’s boundaries. The gray areas within these boundaries provide ample material for dramatic discoveries. My plays often encourage dialogue and fuel passionate post-show discussion. They are meant to challenge, provoke, surprise and—of course—entertain.
