M, V, and W are theatre students at the University College of Southwest Eastern Indiana. When the administration decides it's time to crack down on the department's toxic party culture, they make an example out of these three women, using a party e-vite they wrote to shame their licentiousness. In order to atone for their sins, M, V, and W try to make a video essay about the dangers of illicit affairs. An absurd comedy about women, sexuality, the internet, the police state, and mermaids.

A dysfunctional polycule navigates their evolving relationship dynamics while ALSO navigating the rise of an authoritarian government, a slew of unexplained disappearances coupled with a rapid overpopulation of deer, and the raising of a child. DEERWATCH is a play in three parts that explores neoliberalism's political fault lines, the terminality of the west, and the allegorical implications in the illusion of choice.
