I like the idea of my plays being chameleonic, depending on life experience and personal perspective, for whomever reads them. I can only speak for myself, but I think of my writing as my love language. My characters grapple with love in all its messy, nuanced, positive, negative, organic and contrived manifestions. I am inspired most by the people I've worked closely with over the years and their love for their craft, their community, and the world. I hope my work can be a force for optimism, revelation, and revolution. My plays explore humanity-- in all its comedy and tragedy and banality and absurdity-- with the goal of, hopefully, inspiring you to do the same.
