My artistic mission is to give voice to the marginalized female+ identity, if not to reclaim a sacred place in literature—and in theatre, especially—for historical and contemporary women of all ages, shapes and sizes, and from diverse racial backgrounds and sexual orientations. I write female-centric plays with primarily roles for women--and I write from a working-class female perspective.
