She hopes to get a scoop about Fable, one of the hottest girl groups in the world, who has gone silent for the past two years. Alexi hopes to find some rare vinyl records on the walls that he can “procure”. Will either get what they want?

But, he makes shocking discovery that just might save his business. This macabre comedy is well-suited for themed evenings of short plays for Halloween, horror, or simply the strange and unusual.

These monologues were originally written during the COVID-19 pandemic as part of a group of local playwrights who met online weekly and played a game we called the Monologuessing Game. It kept us sane and gave us a creative outlet. A couple of the monologues are serious, most of them are goofy. Enjoy!
