I use theatre as a tool for escapism. I endeavor to create plays that allow for viewers to escape reality and explore themselves. More importantly, my plays are a study on people. Having travelled the world and met an array of vibrant human beings, it is my intent to display the essence of humanity. I endeavor to capture the essence of the people I meet, and in turn, evoke empathy from an audience. It is my mission to ensure that any person can see a part of themselves in my characters. Many will be able to relate on the basis of the human condition. My plays deal with loss, love, heartbreak, ambition, success, failure; all those feelings people from all backgrounds can empathize with on the purest level. Through those means I wish to connect and captivate. I want people to react authentically by immersing themselves in the story on the stage and I want them to allow themselves to clear their minds for a moment and be present.
