Writing is a way I make sense of the world. It's how I examine what it means to be human, to be female, to be tomboy, to be always looking in from the periphery of patriarchal bullshit. I like to write strong women and girl characters who are raging, sometimes quietly, sometimes dangerously, against the systems (familial, social, governmental) which harm them and us.
