Jessi Pitts

Jessi (she/her/any) is a playwright and librettist based in Seattle, WA. She is a 2026 Dramatist Guild Foundation National Fellow in Musical Theater.

She is the librettist/co-lyricist of Hijinx & Sue, in collaboration with Daniel J.F. Wolfert. You can follow the development process on their Substack. The one-act radio version of the musical was produced by Indieworks Theatre Company, and can be listened to wherever podcasts are streamed.

Jessi has been the recipient of the 2019 Gary Garrison National Ten Minute Play Award (ACTF), the Kenmore Quickies Critics Choice Award (As If Theatre Company), and the Performer's Pick Award (Musical Writers Conference.)
