Jessica Moreland

Jessica graduated from Western Washington University in 2021. While in school, her full length play, Good Water, received a production through Student Theatre Productions at the university. It went on to receive the National Partners of American Theatre Playwriting Award through the Kennedy Center. This award allowed her to attend a writer's retreat at the Eugene O'Neill Center, where she further developed Good Water. Her other plays include Thread and Clytemnestra Has Blood on Her Hands. Her ten minute play, Tidal Lock, has been published in the 2023 Stage It! 30 Ten-Minute Plays volume. She currently resides in Bellingham, Washington, where she works as a publishing coordinator and stage manages.

Rem wants a quiet life, full of early mornings spent in diners, lots of ice cream, and evenings spent in their liminal headspace over which they have complete physical control. But for some reason, the three Fates have decided that Rem will be the next mythological hero, destined to go on some great quest to save the world. But Rem has no interest in any of that. So, with the help of Psyche, who has her own bone...

One day, a mysterious jewelry box appears in Pandora's room, and she refuses to open it. Dealing with grief and fighting for hope...
