My literary and musical output includes adult musicals, children's musicals, operas, poems, and stand-alone songs. My latest creation, the musical "Don't Know Nobody That Boogies Anymore," is designed to be a gift to small theaters: a cheap-to-produce five-person musical with a strong enough score to draw an audience. My translation of "Rigoletto" is designed to show that Verdi's opera is as tuneful and accessible as any Broadway musical and that its arias make great songs in English once they have the right words.
