Artistic Statement
I write about decisions that make themselves. I write about how everybody's gotta be somewhere. And so I write about teachers and the often dark art of pedagogy.
I have a passion for adapting classical works so that they can be read and performed by more people, particularly theatre for youth, particularly my old buddy Shakespeare.
I believe in the theatre. I believe in truth, magic, and that an audience's heart can synchronize with the people onstage. I believe in that shared pulse.
