Citizens of the world face a myriad of social justice issues and theatre/dance is more important than it has ever been. I believe that all human beings contain creative DNA and are searching for a way to change the world. As a theatre maker and playwright I create work grounded in the belief that one of the most important things we all can do now is to collaborate. My plays tread the ground between comedy and drama and use humor as a tool to shed light on sexism, racism and discrimination against women and people of color. An idea develops slowly, if kept inside one mind. It is only by sharing our stories that we can weave together the fabric of a movement designed to effect change.
