My voice is one of fantastical realism. My works bring the abstract to reality by creating worlds that feel like our own and are filled with people who look like us, talk like us, and share in the same struggles that make us human, but with a touch of magic that can be both wondrous and terrifying. My characters highlight the beautiful, awkward, powerful, and messy ways that we as humans form and maintain relationships of every kind and how those bonds we forge drive us forward, for better and for worse.
