The type of art I enjoy creating is at its best when it is collaborative and driven by an ensemble rather than a singular vision. For me, this is best exemplified in my professional work with Summit Players Theatre on their productions of Romeo and Juliet and The Winter's Tale, as well as my work at Marquette University on productions like Peter and The Starcatcher, The Theory of Relativity, Clyborune Park, and Captain Anxiety. In my time as an artist, the projects I've found the most fulfilling have been new or contemporary ensemble-driven works, or new takes on theatre classics, where the ensemble-- actors, directors, playwrights, designers, and management -- drives the creative process.

Besides the focus on collaboration, the projects I work on are all focused on the goal of accessible theatre for everyone. Having grown up with Autism, I understand the extreme importance of accessible theatre, whether it be sensory-friendly performances, audio description services, or live captioning, I am committed to making sure the art I create is accessible to everyone. These philosophies guide my teaching as well, having spent most of my time in the educational world working in a special services capacity, helping students in both the traditional classroom setting and theatre-focused classes. Additionally, as a playwright, I am also committed to breaking down the stigma of mental illness, and telling truthful stories of people with experiences similar to my own.

Collaboration and accessibility have their place in everything I create, and I hope to share what I've learned and experienced in my career with others.
