Most of my work explores the moral implications of living as a human being in our current western society through dystopian or science fiction settings. The focus is not on the world building or technology, but the ethics and morals surrounding these circumstances with the threat of death always lurking around the corner. Another topic that appears in a lot of my plays and musicals is exploring the relationship between a parent and their child–focusing primarily on motherhood–or the creator and its creation. The tone of my work is often comedic, sometimes darker and more poetic. I like to play with form and experiment with different mediums, like musical audio dramas and gamification of stories. This includes exploring different platforms, seeing how they influence the way stories are told, and creating different versions of the same story for these different platforms.
