My body of work is a cheerfully nihilistic endorsement of genuine human connection. I am interested in plumbing the depths of human resilience in the face of overwhelming, often arbitrary adversity. To me, this means claiming victory in moments of vulnerability. I find beauty in the uniquely human impulse to form intimate relationships in spite of the capricious, uncaring nature of the universe.
