Artistic Statement

My characters have been described as, "right on the border of insane yet not quite there."

These are the moments I find interesting, when a person is teetering on the edge of sanity, and a word, a look, or an event can change the course of life.

I write about loneliness, and scratching, clawing, longing, and striving to "be seen," by the world. I tend to write about sensitive, fervent people who have a desire to make a connection--but they are stranded.

I write about desire. The ache of desire.

I write about revenge. The seeking of justice in order to function.
