Max Berry is a playwright/producer based in New York City who strives to write plays that are unapologetically silly and radically kind. In addition to writing, he also served as the Creative Producer for First Kiss Theatre Company from 2022-2025. Max is the creator of “Max’s House” a solo musical puppet show that went on an independently produced tour in 2025. Max is the creator and co-writer of the comedy webseries, “Hey, Professor!” that premiered on YouTube in the summer of 2021 and was an official selection for NYCWebfest 2021. Marcus Matthews doesn’t believe in God. In fact, if you listened to his Dr. Atheist
podcast, you might say he’s even anti-god. But when he meets someone who claims to be God
themselves and is also somehow a walrus, Marcus’s entire world gets turned upside-down. Initially not convinced, Marcus invites this so-called God onto his podcast, hoping the interview will up his subscriber count but after a while it gets...
