FULL-LENGTH: Mary Shelley, author of the seminal science fiction novel Frankenstein. Confined to a Swiss villa during one of the rainiest summers in memory. Competing in a ghost story contest involving her lover, her stepsister, and one of the most pompous assholes in history: Lord Byron.
Mary, a playwright in the 21st century. Participating in a modern day writers’ workshop. Creating groundbreaking works with a poetic nice guy, a too enthusiastic coordinator, and one of the most pompous assholes in history: some guy with an MFA.
These two worlds converge, giving an updated context to the world’s first science fiction novel. Part examination of modern theatrical practices and part period piece depicting an editorialized version of an actual historical event, this is a play that asks the question that hangs over every workshop or development opportunity in theatre and beyond: who are we allowing to be our own modern Prometheus?

FULL-LENGTH: Liz and Abby put on a seasonal production retelling the story of the Salem Witch Trials every fall. In their final season, Liz struggles with balancing “adult” responsibilities with artistry while Abby shirks thoughts of future stability to dedicate herself to their art. In an attempt to strengthen their performance, the women call on the spirit of witchcraft. As their show soars to new heights, they must grapple with professional jealousies, artistic sacrifices, and whether it's possible to balance creative fulfillment with personal stability.

FULL-LENGTH: Brought back to their Appalachian home by the death of their childhood dog, fraternal twin sisters are forced to confront the ghosts they've left behind. Struggling with the history and reputation of the area they're from as well as an identity crisis of their own, they must piece together the difficult parts of their childhood in an attempt to exorcise the wrong from both themselves and the place they grew up.

FULL-LENGTH: At the end of the world, two genetically engineered children are entrusted with the survival of the human race. Held in a restricted campus, they grapple with their extreme responsibility while testing the boundaries of what they are and are not permitted to do as saviors of the world.

SHORT: While digging through their childhood artifacts, sisters ALICE and GRACIE uncover Alice's adolescent teddy bear/lover/former husband, VERNON. Through Alice's diary, the sisters reminisce on love, loss, and heartache, felt with a passion that only childhood can engender.

SHORT: A terrible softball team sits in the dugout during the last inning of their last game of the season. Chanting ensues.

SHORT: Four siblings meet in secret, plotting an uprising against their parents.

SHORT: Two female astronauts discuss their feelings on outer space at the opposite points of their respective journeys.
