Making theatre is a sacred privilege: above all, do no harm. Victor Schlovsky said art is what makes the stone stony, and the stone I think is animate, spirited, a cave of genius. We humans are responsible to create here with equity and reciprocity and quirkiness and joy. Vital, surprising, ethical, and intimate theatre is motivation to live better in a better world.
