natyna bean is a multimedia creative and educator who pens worlds that detail the vitality of womanism and the necessity of Black Queer liberation. Informed by an upbringing in Trinidelphia, through story and song, natyna's work explores and interrogates the impact and internalization of carceral systems, simultaneously offering hope as an agent of healing. natyna was awarded the Dramatist Guild’s Lorraine Hansberry Lilly Award, and is an NYU-Tisch and New School alum who enjoys tea, a fire playlist and laughing loudly in the street.
