BIO
A playwright and director, Michele’s plays explore the shared experiences of the human condition, frequently focusing on rule breakers. Her theater work includes directing for the Provincetown Theatre Playwrights Lab 24-Hour and Spring/Fall Playwrights Festivals, the Provincetown Library Summer Series, teaching black box theater to middle schoolers, and co-founding the Playwrights ETC playwrights lab for Eventide Theatre Company as well as The Playwrights at Sisson Road. She's a member of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod’s Grants Committee, a former trustee of the Cape Cod Theatre Company/Harwich Junior Theatre, a past board member of the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theatre Festival, and was a longtime steering committee member for the First Night Chatham Festival of the Arts
Michele has supported a number of arts & culture and social justice organizations on Cape Cod since returning to her native Massachusetts in 2011 -- especially those supporting children and families. She’s a longtime donor and marketing & development volunteer for Cape Cod non-profits, including The Afterglow Provincetown Performance Arts Festival, Amplify POC Cape Cod, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, Cape Cod Academy, Cape Rep Theatre, the Cape Cod Theatre Company|Harwich Junior Theatre, The Family Pantry of Cape Cod, First Night Chatham, the Provincetown Art Association & Museum, the Provincetown International Film Festival, the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, and Twenty Summers.
In her day jobs, she’s worked on Wall Street, in Silicon Valley, and as a technology business journalist and editor.
