I am a professional actor director playwright who writes with the actor in mind. I tend to write characters who are impassioned, sometimes comic, seekers in untenable circumstances. Actors can bring their full selves to these complicated roles and through this exploration audience members can appreciate the vicissitudes of their own yearnings. When I give voice to the disenfranchised, it invites the viewer to understand experiences beyond their own. I believe that theatre is a pluralistic society with room for all.
