H. Avery is a disabled queer theatre practitioner based in Providence, RI. They hold a BA in Theatre Arts with minors in Musical Theatre and Dance. Their career has taken them from dancing in the woods at Jacob's Pillow, trying out the trapeze at a Camp Pillsbury, swimming in waterfalls at Kitchen Theatre Company, all the way to reading in the sunken garden of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center!

Avery is extremely passionate about creating ethical, high quality work and working towards a more inclusive and accessible theatre industry. Recent credits include New Plays Now (Cypress Productions) and Voices of America Monologue Festival #5 ( Playground Experiment). When the spotlights are off, Avery enjoys learning languages, crocheting, writing, cooking, accessibility advocacy, and working on independent projects.
