I love plays that stretch my understanding and empathy in unexpected ways. I want to laugh with humor that’s smart, and close to the bone. I want plays to explore female characters with rich lives, not all young. I want to hear amazing language , minimal or enhanced. I want to leave with my gut saying, “ That was real.” Those are the plays I aim to write.
