All of us, to one extent or other, hide -- to protect ourselves from what we don’t want to face. We hide behind our positions, our clothes, our hair styles, our relationships.. But when those things are stripped away, we must face life, head on. That’s when we grow and change. And that’s what I focus on in my playwriting. Stripping away my characters’ artifices, so they have a chance to be reborn with a new, true sense of identity.
