I use my writing to create queer utopias, and to depict queer people carving out space for themselves in the midst of capitalist and patriarchal claustrophobia. My plays feature elements of magical realism and the use of comedy as a coping mechanism, creating a sense of safety for actors and audience members while exploring heavy themes. These days I'm particularly interested in intergenerational conflict, feminine rage, and unexpected human connection.
