Artistic Statement

I make theater because I don’t have the math skills to be an engineer: I love building things, experimenting, dissecting, and being resourceful with what I am given. I am drawn to making work that allows for play, for messes, and for the joyful expression of queerness. I hope to create and participate in work that is full of cathartic brutal honesty, fueled by a need to color simultaneously in and outside of the lines.
