Plays are written to be performed. They must come alive. Otherwise, they are just complicated books.
Plays - as most arts - should reflect the times, the hopes and wishes of a society, to emotionally move those that view it and to entertain those as well. I wish to have my works find a home, to see my people in the flesh and resonating. To be appreciated and compensated. To bond with like-minded thinkers and creators and to keep putting thoughts down on the page. To meet interesting people writing interesting things.
