Eric Satterfield

Eric Satterfield is a St. Louis-based writer, artist, and theatre professional.

His play "The Privilege of Being Second," co-written with David Nonemaker, was staged by Prison Performing Arts in 2023, earning a nomination for Outstanding New Play at the 2023 St. Louis Theatre Circle Awards.

That same year, Satterfield received recognition with an artist support grant from the Regional Arts Commission, St. Louis. This support paved the way for the development of his latest work, "Heavy," which premiered as a staged reading in November 2023.

Additionally, Satterfield and Nonemaker's collaboration also brought "Elsinore," a prequel to "Hamlet," to the stage in 2021. The play was produced by Prison Performing Arts and premiered to sold-out audiences.
