As an artist I want to tell stories that will make people uncomfortable. If something makes an audience member uncomfortable then they have to do the introspection as to why they are uncomfortable. I have found when I'm uncomfortable watching a piece I learn much more about myself and the world then I may have perceived. Discomfort can cause change for the better, and that's what I hope my work would do. I'm also interested in telling stories about the LGBTQ+ and Asian community as a gay part-South Korean man, as well as stories about people who meet in unassuming places.
