ABBY JIMISON (they/she) is a writer and dramaturg based in Cincinnati, OH. Abby is a 2023 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a BFA in Performing Arts (Theatre concentration) and a Minor in Musical Theatre. While Abby is currently the Grants Manager Elementz Hip Hop Cultural Arts Center, they are a multi-hyphenate artist with experience in performance, dramaturgy, directing, playwriting, and education.
Some of their notable artistic credits include serving as the producer for Florida Studio Theatre's 2024-2025 Forums Series, playing Alison Bechdel in Fun Home at Muskegon Civic Theatre, being the Swing in the world premiere of Synchro by Katie Peña-Van Zile, and working as the Dramaturg for She Kills Monsters at Western Kentucky University.
