As a Playwright, I am interested in exploring Horror, Thrillers, and their many sub-genres and finding their place on the stage, rather than just on film. How can we explore our fears, hopes, and nightmares through the medium of Horror as a collective within the same room as the actors and their experiences - rather than behind the comfort of a screen? Fear is the the easiest emotion to replicate or experience through acting technique, and so I believe fear can be the vessel through which we can experience true conviction, understanding, and change - as it brings an immediate catharsis.
