As anti-trans legislation aimed at queer youth continues to be pushed across across America, youth stories that center queerness are more important than ever. I believe that by reconnecting adult audiences with their inner child, stories have the ability to create compassion and understanding towards the queer experience. Through absurd comedy and radical empathy, we can shift the needle away from hate and towards compassion.
