Emily M. Shaffer, Theatre Maker, is motivated by theatre that's inclusive. Theatre is a space that is not and should not ever be exclusive. This is shown through their playwriting by creating characters that anyone can play as much as possible. With their other realms of theatre making, they strive to create rehearsal spaces that feel warm and welcoming to all, making an inclusive and safe environment where folks feel okay to be a little silly or try things out of their comfort zone.
