Barry Boehm has been active in the theatre and performing arts since his professional debut as an actor at age nine. He has worked as both an actor and director in the Midwest, Chicago, San Francisco and New York City. He holds a BFA in Drama from Illinois Wesleyan University and did his Ph.D. in theatre arts at the Graduate Center of City University in New York. His full length play Our House was produced by TOSOS NY in March 2026 at the Gural Theatre/ART NYC. His first staged work: Naptime at Polly’s opening in New York in 1995. Short pieces: Eat and Bowie were part of the Spooky Queer Shorts at TOSOS at The Flea in Tribeca. His short play MATES IN SPACE! was recently produced in Baltimore as part of the Baltimore Comedy festival. The OGGs in Hoboken was produced as an enhanced...

For the past year, the couple has been entertaining a young man, Dylan, a struggling MFA graduate from Columbia, who comes to their place every other Thursday, that is, until he ghosted them. A few months later, on a fateful Friday afternoon, Rob is shocked to discover that Dylan has created a popular podcast about their sexual adventures called WEDNESDAY’S BOY. Later that evening, Rob learns that his husband Franklin is short-listed for appointment to the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Unable to contact Dylan directly, Rob leaves a public comment responding to the podcast, accidentally identifying himself and his home as the site of WEDNESDAY’S BOY. Meanwhile, WEDNESDAY’S BOY is bought by Netflix as content for their next season—that news and the identity of the two old Gay Guys in Hoboken spreads like a viral wildfire across the internet.
